New hours for the first few weeks:
Wed – Sat 12pm to Midnight
Sun – Tues 2pm to 9pm

The safety of our guests and staff is paramount.
We will continue to operate with the highest levels of health & safety protocols, while introducing some new policies and procedures:

All tables are 2m apart in compliance with AHS guidelines
-Tables will be sanitized before and after each guest
-We will be at approximately 25% capacity for the first few days and will add seating when it is safe to do so
-The patios, main and middle rooms of the pub only will be open
-Tables will have bus-bins for empties to minimize contact points for staff & customers
-No bar service available at this time
-No shared condiments

Our menu will be available online at
-Upon signing into the wifi, customers will be automatically redirected to the menu page
-Customers will be able to order and pay online with Visa & Mastercard. (Debit, Apple & Google Pay will be available online in a week or two).
-The orders will print up in the kitchen and bar, and we will run the items out to your table.
-For debit payments in the next two weeks, select the cash option and a server will bring you the bill with your items
-Disposable menus will be available on request

Please respect other groups by staying 2m (6ft) away from them during your visit
-Reservations can be made anytime on Bookenda
-We are accepting reservations of groups of 4, 5 or 6 people. Larger groups will be accomodated when we are permitted to do so by Alberta Health Services
-Hand sanitizer is available throughout the restaurant. Please use it upon entry and departure.
-In the event of a lineup there are waiting areas marked on the pavement outside the 10th ave patio.

We are only allowing one guest at a time in each washroom (men’s/women’s)
-There is a traffic light setup outside the washroom entry. Green means go, red means stop.
-There is a waiting area for the washroom marked in the main room of the pub
-Washrooms will be checked and sanitized every 30 minutes

We are sad to announce that the Passport Office is closed, and travel forbidden until the end of the pandemic.
-(The 40-beer Quarantine Passports are still available by pickup and delivery for home consumption)
-We will extend the visa deadlines for all existing 80-beer passports, and look forward to reactivating the program after the pandemic ends

We will continue to offer takeout & delivery
-Takeout will be offered during our opening hours and we will still be offering a 15% discount when ordered on
-Home delivery of our beer & spirits will remain between 4pm and 730pm
-Takeout of beer & spirits will be offered during our opening hours
skipthedishes and ubereats still available, with extras delivery fees
-When picking up your order, please call on arrival and one of our staff will arrange for a no contact pickup on the west side of the stairs at the front

All staff are monitored for Covid-19 symptoms before each shift.
-No staff will be permitted to work with any Covid-19 symptons
-Staff are subject to extra hand-washing regimens in addition to frequent use of hand sanitizer after any guest service
-All staff will be wearing PPE
